Bravo's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is undergoing 11th-hour retooling after Russell Armstrong's suicide this week threw the future of the show into uncertainty.

"Contrary to what is being reported, we have not made a decision to change our original premiere date, but we are in the process of re-editing the show," the channel's president, Frances Berwick, told Variety. Earlier this week, it was reported that the channel might delay the original Season 2 premiere date of Monday, Sept. 5 by a week or more.

Exactly how the show is being re-edited was not specified, but the retooling is expected to at least reduce Armstrong's role. According to reports, he was to feature prominently this season.
