Get Ready to Tune into the Grammy Awards!

So what did you do when the writers went on strike? If you're like me, you turned to music to get you through the pain. I admit that while I'm annoyed I didn't get a full season of The Big Bang Theory, the loss helped me spend some much needed quality time with my CDs (which as of press time still existed). Reality television helped me get reacquainted with Bret Michaels and Sheila E. And of course, what would 2007 have been without Britney imploding before our eyes?
In a year where it seemed like there were more no-talent hacks releasing singles than ever before, it was nice to be able to dig a bit deeper to find the artists that deserve recognition for helping me occupy all the new free time I found myself with. Some of them may even win a Grammy for that feat. So I send a big "thank you" out to the writers guild for inadvertently assisting me in my quest to memorize every single Slayer lyric.
