Ratings: Survivor Premiere Drops; X Factor Steady

CBS topped Wednesday, led by the season premiere of Survivor: Blood vs. Water.
The reality series' 27th installment topped the night with 9.5 million viewers and a 2.6 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, but fell 19 percent from last fall's premiere to mark its lowest-rated fall debut ever. The season finale of Big Brother followed with 6.7 million and a 2.4, down a tenth from last season's closer.

Fox came in second with The X Factor (6.6 million, 2.2), which was flat with last week's premiere.On NBC, Million Second Quiz (4.9 million, 1.2) dipped a tenth and the season finale of America's Got Talent (11.3 million, 2.5) rose a tenth vs. last year.
