The drama pulled in 6.6 million viewers and a 2.2 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, down three tenths and falling below 7 million viewers for the first time. Nevertheless, lead-outs The Goldbergs (5.2 million, 1.7) and Trophy Wife (3.8 million, 1.2) both inched up.

25 unnecessary spin-offs

NBC won the night, led by The Voice (11.4 million, 3.4), which was flat. The Biggest Loser (6.3 million, 1.9) dipped two tenths and Chicago Fire (7.8 million, 2.2) rose a tenth. CBS' lineup was flat, except for Person of Interest (12.5 million, 2.0), which improved a tenth.Fox's comedies all dropped, while The CW's The Originals (2.4 million, 1.1) and Supernatural (2.3 million, 1.0) both improved a few tenths.8 p.m.
