Game 6 of the 2010 NHL Stanley Cup Finals proved a big victory for both the Chicago Blackhawks and NBC. The last game of the series drew 8.3 million viewers, becoming the most-watched NHL game in 36 years, according to the network.

The final match between the Blackhawks and the Philadelphia Flyers, which went into overtime, was also the highest-rated game in 36 years, attracting a 4.7 household rating. In addition, average viewership for the entire 2010 Stanley Cup series was the highest in 13 years.

However, NBC still came in second for the evening to Fox, thanks to a two-hour edition of So You Think You Can Dance. The episode, which revealed Season 7's top 11 finalists, averaged 8 million viewers and grabbed a 3 rating in the 18-to-49 demo.

CBS came in third with repeats of How I Met Your Mother(4.2 million viewers), Rules of Engagement(4.4 million), Criminal Minds (8.4 million) and CSI: NY (8.3 million).

Coming in fourth: ABC, with a two-hour comedy block of reruns of The Middle (4.8 million and 4.5 million viewers, respectively, for two episodes), Modern Family (5 million) and Cougar Town (3.6 million). At 10/9c, a new episode of Happy Town drew 2.6 million viewers.
