Ratings: Battlestar Returns to Out-of-this-World Numbers
The Season 4.5 premiere of Battlestar Galactica — which somewhat unexpectedly sprung on us the reveal of the fifth Cylon - was watched by more than 2.1 million total viewers last Friday night. That represents a 23 percent increase over the series' average for Season 4.0, Sci Fi Channel reports. Battlestar emerged as the No. 1 cable program in the 10 pm hour among men 18-49, and its boffo numbers made Sci Fi the No. 4 cable entertainment network of the night among the 18-49 demo. A "Great Notion," indeed.
