There's a Rambo TV Show in the Works

Sylvester Stallone is developing a Rambo series for Fox, Deadline reports.

Rambo: New Blood will explore Vietnam vet John Rambo's relationship with his son J.R., an ex-Navy SEAL, who has not appeared in the movies. The one-hour drama will be executive-produced by Stallone, Avi Lerner and Jeb Stuart, who also wrote the script. It is unclear if Stallone will reprise his role as Rambo on the show, according to Deadline.

The potential series would reboot the iconic film franchise, which consists ofFirst Blood, Rambo: First Blood Part II,Rambo IIIand Rambo.
