The song in question is Elton John's "Someone Saved My Life Tonight," Lori. And if you're dying to know, it looks like Universal Music's new marketing strategy is working as planned.

In a bid to draw attention to John's Greatest Hits 1970-2002 collection, his label is making his tunes available to networks for use in both shows and promos at lower-than-usual licensing fees. In addition to the Hack spots, CBS is using "Tiny Dancer" to sell Presidio Med. NBC has pushed Good Morning, Miami with "Your Song" and played up Heather Locklear's Scrubs debut with "The Bitch Is Back."

And that's just the promotional side. If you keep your ears open, you'll catch "Rocket Man" on HBO's Six Feet Under, and I'm betting you'll be hearing even more from the singer's catalog on upcoming episodes of other shows.
