Question: I can't remember the exact name of the show, but it starred Randy Quaid, Mare Winningham and the guy who played Drew's brother, Steve, on The Drew Carey Show. (Was it The Brotherhood of Poland, New Hampshire?) What happened to this show? I loved it. It just simply disappeared into the Bermuda Triangle of CBS.

Televisionary: That it did. You are indeed thinking of The Brotherhood of Poland, N.H., which debuted on CBS in September 2003.

The series starred Quaid, John Carroll Lynch (Drew Carey) and Christopher Penn as the Shaw brothers, who'd been hockey stars in their small town as youths but, when the series picked them up later in life, were tackling middle age with varying degrees of success. Created by David E. Kelley, it also featured Elizabeth McGovern, Ann Cusack and, as you pointed out, Winningham.

Just not for long. Brotherhood disappeared after only a month.
