Question: This is my first time ever writing to question you regarding my favorite commercial of all time. What's the name of the song from that Volkswagen commercial where a young couple dances in an apartment and graduates to buying their own house because a neighbor starts banging on the ceiling? I think that's a classic commercial. It represents youth with consideration and maturity. — Josie Televisionary: The song is "Molly's Chambers," by Kings of Leon, and you'll find it on their 2003 CD Youth & Young Manhood (RCA). That commercial, "Independence Day," is good — VW always puts together great ones — but my personal favorites remain "Milky Way", which features Nick Drake's "Pink Moon," and the wedding ad, which makes beautiful use of J. Ralph's "One Million Miles Away."
