It's the second-most exciting trailer to come out today: Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight has finally gotten a teaser.In it, there's no actual movie footage, but we are introduced to the basic plot and the members of the titular group.Will Smith on why he turned down Django UnchainedThe script for The Hateful Eight was leaked a couple of years ago, prompting Tarantino to threaten to shelve the movie entirely. Fortunately, the Oscar-winning director came back to the project."On the edge of the American frontier, some time after the Civil War, eight strangers were stranded by a blizzard," it reads in the opening seconds of the trailer. "They soon discovered they shared a deadly connection."Based on the two-minute trailer, it seems like this movie will be stereotypically Tarantino-esque: Set in the Reconstruction South and soaked in blood.The movie is set to come out this fall and will star Channing Tatum, Samuel L.
