In the words of Kelly Ripa, our long national nightmare is over. The Voice was finally revealed on Quantico! And it's...

Drew (Lenny Platt)!

After telling Alex (Priyanka Chopra) and Shelby (Johanna Braddy), who find him in the hospital with radiation poisoning, that he too was personally victimized by The Voice before tricking Alex into framing Ryan (Jake McLaughlin), Mr. Twitchy McHand-Twitch outs himself over the phone to Alex. Then he makes Alex his bitch again, threatening her to "support the narrative" of Ryan being the terrorist or he'll kill Simon (Tate Ellington) and set off the nuke immediately.

Finale preview: Scoop on all your favorite shows

I said last week Drew was probably a red herring since they went overboard painting his disgruntled rage, but who am I kidding? This show is as subtle as a Mack truck. It also loves its twists, so I am fully prepared for another wrinkle to The Voice of it all. Creator Josh Safran told me as much a few weeks ago. "I know some people are like, 'I'll tune in to see who the terrorist or terrorists are in the finale.' It doesn't actually lay out like that. You find out before the finale," he said. "There are many more steps than that."

Note "terrorist or terrorists." Is this an elaborate fakeout? (Maybe.) Is Drew working with someone else? (Probably.) Was he telling the truth, and The Voice forced him to call Alex? (Possibly.) We never actually see him talking to Alex on the phone, and who knows how he escaped that hospital.

If it is in fact just Drew, it looks like an easy cop-out since we didn't even meet him until the back half of the season. Safran has always said he never changed the terrorist's identity, so he smartly covered his tracks by having Drew be part of the upperclassmen we didn't meet in the first half of the season. But I feel you if you've been thinking it was one of the regulars this whole time.

Drew does make total sense though. I mean, the show would pit Alex's two former lovers against each other, and of course Drew would want to frame Alex's OTP with the terrorist's manifesto. Plus, he obviously needed help building the nuke, what with that hand tremor and all.

Now, it's déjà vu, with Alex at The Voice's beck-and-call again -- driving Ryan's truck, with the nuclear bomb inside, to God-knows-where, awaiting more tasks -- and the FBI is once again after her. At least this time, Shelby and presumably Caleb (Graham Rogers) can go to bat for her. Hopefully she'll still look perfect on the lam again. But Shelby's eyeliner and Ryan's beard games are giving her a run for her money.

I mean, just look at them:
