Pretty Little Liars' Brant Daugherty Kahns Us Good!

That face. That smile. That...bastard! Of the guys who have made trouble in Rosewood, Pretty Little Liars' Noel Kahn is clearly one of the most twisted. And Tuesday night (8/7c, ABC Family), after too many weeks missing from the fun, he's back to stir the pot even more. So we grabbed some time with Brant Daugherty to discuss the weightiest of matters — crazy Mona, romance and when fans will get to see Noel a little more nekkid.

That face.

TV Guide Magazine: Where have you been?
Daugherty:
Where have I been? You can always tell what Noel is up to by where he's not. [Laughs]

TV Guide Magazine: Cryptic. We like that. And tonight, we meet Noel's brother when the Kahn boys throw a giant party.
Daugherty:
Yes! One that Aria kind of stumbles into. She wasn't invited, per se.

TV Guide Magazine: Word has it you guys play a game called "Truth," which leads to some big drama. What, nobody can even bother with playing "Truth or Dare"?
Daugherty:
It's a very intense game of Truth...or Truth. [Laughs]

TV Guide Magazine: So what have you been doing with your time away from Rosewood?
Daugherty:
I have been doing what every actor does...auditioning. And I started training in Parkour.

TV Guide Magazine: OK, that's strange. Robbie Amell, who plays your big brother in tonight's episode, is Stephen Amell's cousin... and Stephen has been training in that for his role in Arrow.
Daugherty:
Is he? I didn't know that! That is so cool. I actually took this on myself.

TV Guide Magazine: How is that going?
Daugherty:
I am s--t at it. [Laughs]

TV Guide Magazine: What inspired this?
Daugherty:
OK, I hate running with a passion. So much! But if you give me a goal, it's so much better. So twice a week, I go to the gym and that's my cardio.

TV Guide Magazine: Have you told the producers that Noel can be a man of action now?
Daugherty:
I'm gonna drop some hints. I think I could be that guy. [Laughs]

TV Guide Magazine: Speaking of action, we hear that Noel may be getting a new girl? Without spoiling it, how does this happen?
Daugherty:
Well...yeah. They just kind of get together and are.

TV Guide Magazine: Which is his typical M.O. When he was with Mona, they just suddenly just showed up together one day. And now...
Daugherty:
Yep. I think the last time I talked to you, my goal was just to get Noel a girl. I think Aria said it best when she said that Noel was going through the girls like Kleenex.

TV Guide Magazine: How close would you say you are to Noel?
Daugherty:
I think we're a lot a like but not on the surface. I come off a lot nicer than he does, I would like to think. I assume, but I don't know! I'm learning things from him, like being direct and not avoiding confrontation...if Noel does one thing well, it's confrontation. [Laughs]

TV Guide Magazine: Would you say you have a dark side?
Daugherty:
I wouldn't have thought so, but the older I get, the more people tell me I do. I was unaware of it, which maybe makes it even more dangerous. [Laughs] I tend to set goals and accomplish them anyway I can.

TV Guide Magazine: So what is coming up for you next?
Daugherty:
We started down the rabbit hole of Noel's dark side last season and I think we're going to continue that.

TV Guide Magazine: Is he capable of violence?
Daugherty:
Absolutely.

TV Guide Magazine: Do you think the writers will ever return to the fact that Noel used to be sensitive musician guy who used to whip out his guitar during storms?
Daugherty:
[Laughs] I would love that! That would be amazing. I would love to see a scene where we got back to Season 1 Noel for a little bit. Show that sweet, artful side. He's not entirely villainous.

TV Guide Magazine: He broke Mona!
Daugherty:
I like to think he did! [Laughs]

TV Guide Magazine: Have you shot any scenes with Janell [Parrish, Mona] yet?
Daugherty:
I have not, and I am dying for it. She is absolutely one of my favorite people in this cast and we hang out all the time, so we have even talked about this, like 'when are we gonna get to that?' Because I unceremoniously dumped her, we never talked again and then she turned out to be "A." So did Noel know that? How much did he know? I want to get into that.

TV Guide Magazine: Last question...we've all seen Keegan Allen's magical eight-pack. Ian Harding had to shave down for Ezra's first shirtless scene. When are fans gonna get to see what Noel Kahn is covering up?
Daugherty:
I would love to do that. I would love to show you guys as much as ABC Family will let me! [Laughs]
