President Barack Obama's farewell tour won't skip one of the most important political shows on television.

Obama will be the featured guest on Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Trevor Noah on Monday, Dec. 12 at 11/10c, his first appearance with new host Trevor Noah. It will be the president's eighth visit to the late-night comedy show overall, with the prior seven all coming when Jon Stewart was host of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

The best TV shows of 2016

Obama previously appeared once as a senator, once as a presidential candidate, and five times as president. His last appearance on the show was in July 2015, shortly before Stewart left the post.

Noah's interview with Obama will be conducted at the White House, and will be simulcast on MTV and BET.

The Daily Show airs Monday through Thursday at 11/10c on Comedy Central.
