American television often looks across the pond for inspiration. Though the U.S. version of a British hit can be very successful (The Office, Three's Company), more than a few have gotten lost in translation (anyone remember Life on Mars or Coupling?). But several seem very promising this winter season: teen drama Skins, Matt LeBlanc's Episodes and Being Human, in which a vampire, ghost and werewolf live together in semi-harmony. So which remake of a British show are you most looking forward to?
