Costa Rican police are investigating claims by two photographers that bodyguards shot at them during Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady's weekend wedding.
Yuri Cortes of Agence France-Presse and Rolando Aviles of Costa Rica's Al Dia newspaper said Bundchen's bodyguards opened fire on them after a run-in with security guards and members of the wedding party. They said the guards tried to seize their cameras' memory cards. As the photographers drove away, a shot was fired, smashing the rear window and then the front windshield, Cortes told New York's Daily News. Nobody was injured.
Cortes and Aviles filed a complaint Monday. Judicial police spokesperson Margarita Morales said Tuesday that her agency is probing their complaint.
Brady's agent, Don Yee, told The Associated Press that security personnel had no knowledge of the incident.
Brady and Bundchen married at the supermodel's Costa Rican home on Saturday — their second marriage ceremony in five weeks.
