Get ready for even more heartbreaking rescues and emotional dog adoptions, because animal Planet has renewed Pit Bulls & Paroleesfor a seventh season, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

The popular series, produced by 44 Blue Productions, follows New Orleans-based Tia, her family and her Villalobos crew of parolees and volunteers as they rescue, rehabilitate and find homes for abused and abandoned pit bulls.

On Saturday beginning at 9 a.m./8c, viewers can catch up on the most memorable moments of the current season with never-before-seen footage and get an insider's look behind the scenes with the cast and crew, as well as updates on past adoptions. The Season 6 finale will follow (10/9c), which features Tia's battles with a local shelter over the fate of a scared and aggressive pit bull, a local couple who returns to Villalobos in hopes of finding another furry companion for their family and, after a long recovery, a dog that was rescued from the brink of death who finally has a shot at a forever home in Boston.

Season 7 will launch in fall 2015 with 21 new episodes.
