The Peanuts Gang Is Heading Back to TV

Break out your best Snoopy dance, because Peanuts is returning to TV!
Charlie Brown, Lucy and the whole gang will appear in a brand-new series of animated shorts on the Boomerang network,Varietyreports. Beginning May 9, new episodes of Peanuts will air daily at 11:30 a.m. and later become available to stream on the network's video app.
The news comes after a renewed interest in Charles Schulz's Peanuts. Last year, the 3D computer-animated Peanuts Movie -- the first Peanuts film in 35 years -- earned a Golden Globe nomination. Leading up to the film's release, Normaal Animation Studios in France began producing new Peanuts shorts using watercolor art and textured backgrounds.
Now, these shorts are finally coming to America. Are you excited Peanuts is back?
