Paul William Walker III, the father of late actor Paul Walker, has sued Porsche, accusing the car manufacturer of negligence in the death of his son, The Associated Press reports.

Paul Walker was involved in a fatal crash in 2013 while joyriding in a Porsche Carrera GT. In his lawsuit, which was filed Wednesday, Walker's father alleges that the car lacked safety features that could have saved his son's life, including side-door reinforcements and a breakaway fuel line that would have prevented the car from igniting after impact.

This isn't the only lawsuit filed against Porsche related to the crash. The widow of Roger Rodas, Walker's friend who was driving at the time of the accident, also filed a wrongful death suit against them on Wednesday and has a pending claim in federal court. An additional lawsuit was previously filed on behalf of Walker's 17-year-old daughter. In response to that filing, Porsche said it bears no responsibility for Walker's death, and noted that the car had been modified in a way that contributed to his death.

Police determined that unsafe speeds of up to 94 miles per hour caused the car to spin out of control and crash.
