X-Citing! Ian McKellen Officiates Patrick Stewart's Wedding

Patrick Stewart married his girlfriend, singer/songwriter Sunny Ozell, over the weekend, Us Weekly reports. The ceremony took place on Sunday and was officiated by Stewart's X-Men co-star Ian McKellen.

"Yes, married," Stewart, 73, confirmed via Twitter Sunday, along with a picture of him and Ozell in a ball pit.

McKellen also confirmed the nuptials on social media, posting a picture on Facebook of himself wearing a "Minister" shirt and holding up the couple's marriage certificate.

Stewart, 73, and Ozell, 35, met in 2008 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, where Stewart was starring in Macbeth.

It's the third marriage for Stewart, who has two children.
