Pat Robertson argued on Wednesday's episode of The 700 Club that if a woman's husband cheats, it's because she failed to make the home "wonderful."
A viewer wrote in asking for advice on how to forgive her husband for cheating on her, to which Robertson replied: "Here's the secret. Stop talking the cheating. He cheated on you, well, he's a man." Robertson then instructed the wife to focus on why she's married to her husband. "Does he provide a home for you to live in," Roberston asked. "Does he provide food for you to eat? Does he provide clothes for you to wear? Is he nice to the children? ... Is he handsome?" The famous evangelical added that if the wife is able to focus on these things, she's guaranteed to fall in love with him again.

Robertson went on to explain that her husband's infidelity wasn't his fault, but is partially due to her poor homemaking skills. "Recognize also, like it or not, males have a tendency to wander a little bit," Robertson said. "What you want to do is make a home so wonderful that he doesn't want to wander" or become "captured" by the "salacious" magazine images and Internet pornography.According to Robertson, the wife should even thank God for being married at all and simply be grateful that she's living in America. What do you think of Robertson's advice?
