Not since the days of Magnum, P.I. has Hawaii been this hot. Two Aloha State-themed TV projects have been picked up for a possible fall 2003 berth, Variety reports. Fox has greenlit The Break, a drama from Blue Crush writer John Stockwell. CBS, meanwhile, has given the go-ahead to 808, an FBI series from Lara Croft: Tomb Raider director Simon West. In related news, the Eye network is also developing a legal drama set in the year 2053.
