Pistorius was indicted in South Africa Monday, with prosecutors alleging that he shot his girlfriend, model Reeva Steencamp, at their house on Valentine's Day following an argument. Pistorius has not denied shooting Steencamp, but claims he mistook her for a home invader.

The athlete, who's known as "Blade Runner" because of the equipment he uses to run, is also charged with violating South Africa's firearms control act, which states that people can only store ammunition for specific weapons they're licensed to own, CNN reports. Pistorius reportedly stored ammunition for a weapon owned by his father.

His trial is set to begin March 3.
