AND THE OSCAR MIGHT GO TO...

With the revelation of the National Board of Review's picks for the year's best in pics, Academy Award season is now officially underway. Based on the panel's opinions, Finding Neverland is a shoo-in for a best picture nod, and both Ray leading man Jamie Foxx and Julia stunner Annette Bening should start making room in their trophy cases for an Oscar. Left off the Board's hot lists were The Passion of the Christ and Fahrenheit 9/11, each of which was singled out for "special recognition." Which roughly translates to "consolation prizes."
