In advance of the Season 4 finale
BBC America's Emmy-nominated sci-fi drama Orphan Black has been renewed for a fifth and final season, the network announced Thursday.
"We are excited to deliver an epic conclusion to the tale of Sarah and her clone sisters," co-creators John Fawcett and Graeme Manson said in a statement. "The past four seasons have been a phenomenal adventure and we are eternally grateful to our loyal fans who have loved the twists and thrills of our weird little show. We are thankful to our partners at Temple Street, and to BBC America and Space for their support and giving us the opportunity to end on a high."
The series airs its Season 4 finale Thursday, where we hope one of Tatiana Maslany's clone characters bites the dust. If it doesn't happen during the finale, it will definitely happen in Season 5.
Season 5 will premiere in 2017.
Season 4 wraps up Thursday, June 16 at 10/9c on BBC America.
