Once Upon a Time unleashes its latest Dark One, and he's ... happy?

On Sunday's all-new episode (8/7c, ABC), we finally get a look at what Killian Jones (Colin O'Donoghue) is like as Dark Hook now that his inner darkness has been revealed and embraced. In the exclusive sneak peek above, it's clear that there is no struggle similar to Emma's calm and controlled descent. Going Dark One for Hook means going full-on mean, vengeful and, dare we say, theatrical?

The object of his revenge is naturally Gold (Robert Carlyle), aka Rumplestiltskin, who has taken so much from Hook over the centuries. But merely killing him is not Dark Hook's game. Adding in Excalibur makes the stakes so much higher, and we loved seeing his impersonation of the Crocodile himself, complete with hand gestures and the signature "dearie!"

But where is Emma (Jennifer Morrison) in all of this? Last we saw her, everything she was doing was to undo Dark Hook, who came into being after she tried to save his life.

Will Gold step up to become a hero again? How will two Dark Ones be defeated? Does Hook have any other impressions up his black sleeves? Share your thoughts below.
