OK, why did Rod Lurie really ...

Question: OK, why did Rod Lurie really get impeached as Commander in Chief's, um, chief?Answer: Simply put: Good writer/director. Bad show runner. "He's a micromanager," whispers one source. "He didn't let people do their jobs. And people need to be given the freedom to do their jobs." Adding to the tension was the fact that Lurie wasn't delivering episodes on schedule, which is why ABC brought in Steven Bochco, who has greased more than a few well-oiled machines in his time. And he's wasting no time putting his stamp on things: I hear he has fired pretty much everyone except head writer Dee Johnson. I think that's what they call cleaning house, folks.
