The Office Video: Amy Ryan's Holly, Jolly Christmas Return

Get ready for a Holly, jolly OfficeChristmas!

Amy Ryan returns as adorably goofy HR rep Holly Flax, aka Michael Scott's "one that got away," on Thursday's one-hour episode of The Office. And as you can see from their reunion, the two pick up right where they left off.

Holly, who was transferred to Dunder Mifflin's Nashua branch two seasons ago, returns to Scranton to cover for Toby (Paul Lieberstein), who's taking a leave of absence. In the Season 6 finale, Michael (Steve Carell) asked Jo (Kathy Bates) to bring Holly back after he took the fall for Sabre's printer scandal.  Last we heard of Holly earlier this season, she was still dating A.J., but Michael left her a voicemail, saying that he still thinks about her. And to get tested for herpes.Ryan will appear in eight episodes this season.
