Ever since we learned that Britney Spears would be on Jane the Virgin, we couldn't wait to hear more.

Thanks to an interview with ETonline, the show's creator Jennie Snyder Urman has spilled a couple more details. As previously reported, Spears will appear in the new season's fifth episode to play herself as the nemesis of Rogelio (Jaime Camil).

And even though Spears is a big enough presence on her own, Urman says the pop star will play an "exaggerated version" of herself. What could that possibly mean? "She loved it," Urman said of Spears' reaction to the story idea.

Jane's getting married on Jane the Virgin

Our biggest question: Will Spears get to perform on the show? Urman teased, "It's not a full musical but ... It's going to be fun! There is music in the episode, yes."

Are you excited to see Britney Spears on Jane the Virgin? How do you think Rogelio will handle his nemesis? Maybe a dance-off? Hit the comments!

Jane the Virgin's returns for its Season 2 premiere Oct. 12 on the CW.
