Its fate perhaps sealed by the dreadful numbers dialed up last Wednesday night — and not at all bolstered by my wonderful Q&A with Kim Raver — ABC's The Nine has been pulled from the prime-time lineup, at least for the time being. Taking the serialized drama's place, this week at least, is a special installment of 20/20. Hey, at least it's another show with a number in the title, right? OK, I agree — small consolation.UPDATE: This just in from the show's rep: "The Nine is on hiatus now and will return later in the season."
