Fam and Man with a Plan are replacing Murphy Brown and Happy Together
CBS' winter comedy lineup is set, with new Nina Dobrev sitcom Fam premiering Jan. 10, and Season 3 of Matt LeBlanc's Man with a Plan arriving Feb. 4, the network announced Wednesday.
Fam stars Vampire Diaries alum Dobrev as a woman named Clem whose perfect life with her adoring fiancé (Tone Bell) gets turned upside down when her out-of-control 16-year-old half-sister (Odessa Adlon, daughter of comic genius Pamela Adlon) shows up unannounced in need of a place to stay. It premieres Thursday, Jan. 10 at 9:30/8:30c, and will slide into the timeslot previously occupied by the Murphy Brown revival; that series was always intended to be only 13 episodes.
Man with a Plan will take over Happy Together's Monday at 8:30/7:30c timeslot starting Feb. 4 after the Damon Wayans Jr.-starring sitcom completes what will likely be its only season. Man with a Plan stars former Friends actor LeBlanc as an old-school guy being dragged kicking and screaming into the modern family age. It's like a less political Last Man Standing.
Big Brother: Celebrity Edition's Premiere Date and Full Schedule Is Here
Life in Pieces' Season 4 premiere will be announced at a later date.
