Hollywood's #MeToo movement shows no sign of slowing, as another actress stepped forward to allege abuses she suffered at the hands of another then-powerful colleague.

Actress Nicole Eggert has claims that former Charles in Chargeco-star Scott Baio made inappropriate contact with her when she was still a child -- she starred on the series from when she was around 14 to 18 years old. She wrote on Twitter, "Ask Scott Baio what happened in his garage when I was a minor. Creep."

Baio is more than a decade older than Eggert and appeared as the title lead of the family sitcom series.

One of Eggert's co-stars from the series, Adam Carl, quickly spoke up to validate her claims, responding to Eggert with, "When I worked on Charles in Charge in '88, I sat with you while you cried about that abusive asshole. I know you're telling the truth and I'm so glad to see you speaking out."

Carl had appeared on a Season 3 episode of the series as a one-time guest star, and the installment did indeed air in the fall of 1988.

In a since-deleted tweet, Eggert added that she was 14 when the alleged abuses began and that it "wasn't a one-time deal."

Baio has since denied the allegations, appearing on a Facebook live video in which he detailed his defense that she was shopping her story out to talk show outlets and was misleading others about how old she was at the time of the incident(s).

His wife also spoke up to insist that the Baio family attorneys filed a cease and desist order against Eggert concerning her claims.
