Cannon will man the mic for the upcoming fourth season of NBC's summer reality competition America's Got Talent, according to Variety. As part of the deal, Cannon will also take part in other projects for the Peacock.
Mr. Mariah Carey replaces Jerry Springer, who recently announced his departure after two seasons. Regis Philbin hosted the show's first season.
Cannon's hosting credits include MTV's Wild'n Out and ABC's recent Presidential Inaugural Neighborhood Ball. He also emceed the 2008 Teen Choice Awards on Fox.
