Nick Cannon Confirms "Trouble" with Mariah Carey, Couple Living Apart

Nick Cannon is coming clean about his reported marital problems with wife Mariah Carey.

Hours after Page Six reported that the two are currently living apart, Cannon confirmed the news in an interview with The Insider With Yahoo on Thursday. "There is trouble in paradise," the America's Got Talent host told the site. "We have been living in separate houses for a few months."

However, Cannon denied rumors that the strain in their marriage was due to infidelity. "My main focus is my kids," he said of the couple's 3-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

Carey, 44, and Cannon, 33, married in 2008 after a whirlwind six-week courtship. The couple tried for several years to conceive and, after a miscarriage in 2008, they welcomed twins on their wedding anniversary in 2011.

This was the first year that they did not renew their vows on their wedding anniversary, which had become a tradition for the pair.
