New Girl Adding Another New Girl to Diagnose Schmidt

June Diane Raphael has joined the cast of Fox's New Girl, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Raphael, who has appeared on NTSF:SD:SUVand Party Down, will play Sadie, Jess' gynecologist friend. As we first reported, an upcoming episode will see Schmidt (Max Greenfield) stricken with an ailment. He'll turn to Sadie, who also happens to be a lesbian, who will offer him an unofficial diagnosis.

Rachael Harris to guest-star on Fox's New Girl

Raphael will first appear in Episode 9, with the potential to recur on the freshman series, which will return to Fox on Tuesday, Nov. 1.
