After a stern message from Lostcreator Damon Lindelof, who was upset that scenes from the show's two-part 2010 finale were strangely missing on Netflix, the network has pledged to fix the flub.

It all started when eagle-eyed Lost fans on Reddit began chronicling mysteriously missing footage -- some 18 minutes worth - and alerted Lindelof. After he gave a stern statement to Entertainment Weekly, saying he was "totally befuddled by all this," Netflix got wind and promised to source and correct the problem.
How'd it happen? The current hypothesis is that Netflix might've received a version cut down for syndication - although with Lost, we're much more inclined to believe something decidedly more spooky.
