See how they work
You have to make them yourself but still: Netflix has unveiled a design for some amazing socks that'll send a signal to your streaming device and pause if you doze off. What a time to be alive!
Making the socks requires downloading a pattern from Netflix's instructional page, with designs from shows including Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Orange is the New Black or Jessica Jones. Users insert a sensor that can tell if you haven't moved in a while; if it thinks you've conked out on the couch while binge-watching, a red light in the cuff of the sock will send a warning before pausing if you've become immobile.
Here's what's coming to Netflix in December
They're not exactly easy to make, but they keep your little piggies warm and enhance the viewing experience - making them just what a true TV junkie's has in mind when he says Netflix and chill.
