Netflix has released the first teaser for its upcoming original series Marco Polo, which will premiere in December.

The drama stars newcomer Lorenzo Richelmy as the titular explorer, and will chronicle Polo's adventures as an official under Kublai Khan (Benedict Wong) in 13th century China.
