Dana Scully and Christian Grey walk into a bar... OK, we can't finish that joke because X-Files alum Gillian Anderson and 50 Shades of Grey star Jamie Dornan never actually share screen time on Season 1 of their terrifying series The Fall. However, they have more six more episodes to change that.

Netflix announced Thursday that the six-episode second season of The Fall will premiere at 12:01 a.m. on Jan. 16, 2015. All five episodes of Season 1 of the series, which became the highest-rated drama in 10 years on BBC Two, are currently streaming on Netflix.

The series stars Anderson as Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson who is on the trail of serial murderer Paul Spector (Dornan). The Good Wife's Archie Panjabi also stars.

"The Fall in its first series, was one of the best reviewed TV shows of 2013. It is incredibly suspenseful storytelling, topped with a great cast including Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan," Ted Sarandos, Chief Content Officer at Netflix, said in a statement. "We're thrilled to offer such a distinguished and entertaining show to our viewers around the world."
