Mega Buzz: Daredevil's Love Interest Isn't Who You Think

Comic book fans might be surprised who Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) falls for in Netflix's Daredevil.

Despite Matt's murderous meet-cute with Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) in the premiere, it isn't his new secretary - and Daredevil's long-time love interest in the comics - that catches Matt's eye. Instead, he quickly falls for none other than Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson), the nurse who stitches him up after his more violent vigilante encounters.

But things between Matt and Claire don't seem destined to last. As Marvel fans know, Claire Temple is a main love interest of Luke Cage, who just so happens to be getting his own Netflix series in the not-so-distant future. It's likely Dawson will somehow find her way into Netflix's Luke Cage, allowing Claire and Luke (Mike Colter) to fulfill their destined romance.

And don't cry for Karen in the meantime. She isn't sitting at home pining over Matt all season. She's too busy flirting with Matt's legal partner Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson)! You heard that right. Because while Netflix's Daredevil sticks to the comics in many ways, it seems to have no problems shaking up the romantic entanglements beyond recognition.
