NCIS: New Orleans Casts Fast & Furious Star

Fast & Furiousstar Lucas Black has joined the cast of CBS' NCIS: New Orleans, TVLine.com reports.

The upcoming spin-off, which will launch as a backdoor pilot in a spring NCIS two-parter, will focus on the New Orleans office of NCIS that handles cases from Pensacola through Mississippi and Louisiana to the Texas panhandle. 

Olympics: What to watch

Black, whose other credits include the Friday Night Lightsmovie and 42, will play Special Agent LaSalle, a no-nonsense federal agent. He joins the previously cast Scott Bakula, Zoe McLellan and CCH Pounder.
