NCIS: New Orleans: Agent Pride Helps a Child Heal in These Sweet Photos

Special Agent Pride is out here healing harts...and making us cry.

Just when we think we couldn't possibly love the tough but kind-hearted agent Pride (Scott Bakula) on NCIS: New Orleans any more, he goes and gets us going "Awww" some more with his generous ways.

In a forthcoming episode "Music to My Ears" airing December 6, Pride takes in a kid who's witnessed something terrible: a murder. And not just any murder either, but the murder of his aunt, a Petty Officer and member of the United States Navy Band. In her home. Obviously, this kid is not in a good space.

To stave off little Dustin's (Zailand Adams) placement in state care, Pride steps up and takes temporary custody of him -- a gesture of altruistic love that also helps him gain clues about how to solve the case. From the looks of the photos, Pride is giving the child the support he needs in a time of unimaginable trauma, and helping him heal through music too.
