And so the death march begins. NBC is moving the ratings-challenged Smashto Saturdays beginning April 6, the network announced Wednesday.

NBC, however, emphasized that it will air all 17 episodes of the Broadway drama's second (and we presume, last) season. In its place, the new dating show Ready for Love will air two-hour episodes after The Voiceon Tuesdays at 9/8c beginning April 6.

Fall TV 2013 Scorecard: What's been renewed? What's canceled?

Ready for Love's original Sundays at 8/7c timeslot will now become home to encore episodes of The Voice on March 31 and April 7, leading into new episodes of Celebrity Apprentice, which will expand to two hours on April 14.

NBC is also shaking up its Tuesday night comedies. Matthew Perry's Go On will get the prime post-Office slot for its final two episodes of the season on April 4 and 11. It's unclear what will happen to fellow freshman comedy 1600 Penn, which currently airs after The Office. The New Normal will air a one-hour season finale on Tuesday, April 2 at 9/8c. Sophomore comedy Whitney will also have a one-hour season finale on Wednesday, March 27 at 8/7c.

Are you sad about Smash's move? Will you be tuning into Ready for Love?
