Fall TV Preview: New stars to watch
The show will cover Carson's 30-year run at the Tonight Show, as well as his childhood in Nebraska and his life off-camera. It will be based on the upcoming Bill Zehme biography, Carson the Magnificent: An Intimate Portrait, and will be executive-produced by Zehme and John Davies. Casting announcements have not been made.
Carson, who died in 2005, hosted The Tonight Show from 1962 until 1992.
