TWO NBC AFFILIATES CLOSE BOOK

NBC affiliates in Arkansas and Indiana have announced that they will not air the new and semicontroversial drama The Book of Daniel, which premieres Friday night. Little Rock's KARK-TV says it ordered the preemption after "careful consideration" of viewer feedback, while Terre Haute's WTWO-TV claims the diss has "nothing to do with the program" in which Jesus is a character but part of an overall airing of grievances about NBC-affiliate relations.
