Nashville capped off its mid-season finale tonight with an awesome look at the final few episodes of the series set to air this summer.

New episodes will pick back up on June 7 at 9/8c on CMT, and it looks like we're in for a whole lot of drama, plus a few new faces. We'll finally meet Deacon's (Charles Esten) father, Gideon (Ronny Cox), who's described as a "crusty, frustrated, would-be musician," so it's easy to see why he'd resent his son's success. The final episodes will also introduce Rosa (Mia Maestro), a devoted follower of Darius' (Josh Stamberg) group, who starts to have doubts about her place in the movement.

This short teaser also hints at few big developments for other characters, like Scarlett's (Clare Bowen) unexpected kiss with Sean (Jake Etheridge) and Daphne's (Maisy Stella) big stage debut. Not to mention, Gunnar (Sam Palladio) and Avery (Jonathan Jackson) looking like they're about to come to blows, which could mean disaster for their new band.

Sadly, this news also comes with a expiration date for the series. Nashville's series finale will air July 26. Mark it on your calendars so you remember to stock up on Kleenex and ice cream to help you get through the night.
