First Look: Mythbusters Tests Breaking Bad's Chemistry

Heisenberg has nothing on these guys! On August 12, Breaking Badcreator Vince Gilligan and star Aaron Paul join Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman for a special episode of Discovery's Mythbusters to dissect the science surrounding the hit AMC show. Some of the drama's most memorable moments are called into question, including Walt's preferred method of body disposal: dissolution in hydrofluoric acid.

"I was shocked — not by what it took to dissolve a body, because we did succeed at it, but by the collateral damage," Savage says. "Shocking, noxious, gross, disgusting...I ran out of adjectives a long time ago for what we saw."

But viewers will not learn the secret formula behind Walt's blue meth. "We don't talk about drugs specifically, nor do we delve into the manufacture of them in any way," Savage says. "It's a family show, but that didn't stop us from making a very funny joke for the opener, which you'll have to watch."
