MTV Green-Lights Pilot for Scream Adaptation, Renews Snooki & JWOWW

Ghostface may be coming to TV!

MTV has given the green light to a pilot based on the Screamfilms, which will reinvent the horror comedy franchise. The potential series would be slated for a 2014 debut, with original director Wes Craven set to helm the pilot.

The network has also green-lighted three new series, including Generation Cryo — which explores the lives of kids who were conceived via anonymous sperm donors — Nurse Nation — a docu-series that follows twentysomething nurses that travel to new hospitals every 13 weeks — and dating show The Hook Up.

Additionally, MTV has also renewed Snooki & JWOWWfor a third season.
