Previously Unavailable Episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000 Will Soon Be Streamable on Vimeo

Is this a joke? Because it's pretty good. Mystery Science Theater 3000, known to cool kids and people who hate long titles as MST3K, has just landed at Vimeo for rent or purchase, according to Variety.

Is this a joke? Because it's pretty good.

Mystery Science Theater 3000, known to cool kids and people who hate long titles as MST3K, has just landed at Vimeo for rent or purchase, according to Variety.

The online-streaming service is now home to a collection of 80 episodes of the cult comedy series, which follows Mike Nelson (Michael J. Nelson) and a crew of robots known as Tom Servo, Crow T. Robot and Gypsy as they watch and make fun of B-movies while trapped on a space station.

Fall TV 2014: Must-see new shows

But that's not the best part. Vimeo will soon be the exclusive home of several previously unavailable episodes, with about a dozen slated to debut within the next year. That's a major coup for the fledgling streaming service, as securing the rights to MST3K episodes is extra complicated thanks to the fact that each one contains an entire movie. While Vimeo's initial 80 episodes are also available for purchase on iTunes, Amazon Instant, and other streaming services, only Vimeo will carry the "new" episodes.

Individual outings on the Satellite of Love are now available to rent on Vimeo for $2.99, or to purchase for $9.99. For diehard fans, Vimeo is offering all 80 of the currently available episodes for $300, and that price includes any and all of the future episodes that the service makes available.
