As Mr. Robot nears its second season finale, it's burning through story -- and we're loving every jam-packed minute of it!

Wednesday's episode featured a complicated development in the "Is Tyrell alive?" mystery, a major shootout that left Darlene's (Carly Chaikin) life up in the air, an AWOL Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) and much more. But it was one of the episode's quieter moments that has us tense with anticipation.

When Angela (Portia Doubleday) makes Elliot (Rami Malek) meet her on the subway, she doesn't mince words and immediately begins interrogating him about why he started fsociety. She claims she's going to turn herself in, but won't betray his trust. However, after Elliot leaves, Angela is approached by two mysterious figures.

Mr. Robot: The never-ending war hits home for Elliot

Though it's easy to assume these people are agents of the Dark Army, ready to keep her quiet before she has a chance to ruin Stage 2, it's also actually more likely that they're the feds. All the ads on the subway car during the Angela and Elliot's meeting are promoting listening devices, which can't be a coincidence. In order to save herself, did Angela wear a wire to sell Elliot out to the FBI? We break down this theory and so much more in the video above!
